FAQ's
1) Which materials are required?
• Logo organising company (jpeg 300 dpi)
• Logo client company (jpeg 300 dpi)
• Low resolution picture for the EuBEA website
• 3-5 pictures high resolution (jpeg 300 dpi)
• Video max 3 minutes (mpeg 2 or wmv) - the video must have a voice over reproducing the texts written in the entry form from event objective to results
2) How much is the entry fee?
1st Event Registered € 600.00 + vat 20%
2nd e 3rd Event Registered € 350.00 + vat 20%
4th e 5th Event Registered € 300.00 + vat 20%
Beyond the 5 th Event Registered € 200.00 + vat 20%
3) When is the entry period?
You can enter events from April 15th 2009 to July 30th 2010.
4) How can I best register my event?
- Carefully read the announcement of the competition, downloadable at www.besteventawards.com in the “Registration” section, before proceeding with enrollment.
- All the documents must be sent respecting the deadlines and the specifications outlined in the announcement of the competition, in the section “Registration materials and fees”.
- A good graphical representation of your event details can be a plus in the evaluation. Don’t capitalise everything; respect the capitalisation rules of European syntax.
- Carefully follow all the registration steps and make sure you have submitted all the necessary materials in the format requested.
- Please complete all the fields marked with an asterisk. These are required fields; failure to complete them, prevents you from entering the next phase of the registration process.
- The fields without an asterisk, instead, are optional, but not to be considered of less value to the registration process.
Ex: the field “Media Mix” is optional since not all types of events require its presence.
5) What happens if my video goes over the three minute limit?
If you present a video that is longer than three minutes, it will be cut down to the limit by the organizers, likely leading to the detriment of its comprehension.
6) Is it possible to register events realized near the deadline of the competition?
It is possible to register events realized a few days prior to (or following) the deadline of the competition. However, please contact the organizing secretary for further clarification.
7) Is it possible to send supporting materials of the technical specifications of the event?
Supporting materials that emphasize the success of the event may be submitted simultaneously. These include: press review, publications, case history, gifts or gadgets created for the event, market data useful for the overall assessment by the Jury.
